Artist's StatementI'm interested in painting as a means of suggestion, using a traditional approach to nature to trigger our associative connection to the people, places and things around us. We build a collective memory with the world through the stories, myths and emotions we attach to our everyday surroundings. My paintings are a projection of my collective memory, meant to trigger that of the viewers.
